Chiefs’ Siler starts in place of deceased friend Belcher

Brandon Siler was hoping he’d get his chance with the Chiefs, but not like this. The tragic news of Jovan Belcher’s murder-suicide hit Siler harder than most. Belcher, the team’s starting middle linebacker, and Siler, his backup, were friends and sat next to each other during daily meetings. Janoris makes history with two pick-sixes in win

Two weeks ago, the St. Louis Rams were reminded of why Janoris Jenkins carried a high risk in the draft. On Sunday, the rookie got back to reminding them why he brings a high reward. Jenkins became the first rookie since 1960 with a pair of interceptions returned for touchdowns in the same game as the Rams beat the Cardinals, 31-17.
