Louis Murphy now a Rosenhaus client

Agent Drew Rosenhaus announced on his Twitter page Wednesday that his agency had signed former Gator receiver Louis Murphy as a new client earlier in the day. Murphy, a rookie this year in Oakland, has been impressive during the offseason and is expected to play a sizable role in the Raiders offense this season. Gators and NBA free agency

Wednesday’s NBA free agency kickoff saw a couple of splashes by Detroit. The Pistons ran through most of their $18 million in cap room by signing Chicago’s Ben Gordon and Milwaukee’s Charlie Villanueva. While the signings won’t make headlines in Gainesville, they both have possible implications on some former Gators. The courting of D-Lee has begun

July 1 marks the start of NBA free agency. That means the courting of David Lee has begun. Lee, a double-double machine as a starter with the New York Knicks last season, reportedly received his opening offer from the Knicks.
