Another NFL Draft is in the books and I have to spend some fextra time in the gym to work off my 13 hours spent on the couch. Surprisingly, only three former Gators were selected. Projecting Gators in the NFL Draft

In a couple of days Gator fans find out where a handful of former players will be starting their NFL careers. As is usually the case with each year’s NFL Draft, the days leading up to the selection process are far more tense for the athletes than the hours of picks that span Saturday and Sunday. Wilkerson in Providence

Former Gator Brad Wilkerson’s search for other options led him right back to where he started. Wilkerson (’96-’98) left the Boston Red Sox late in spring training to consider other options in his career. The outfielder logged five hits and 18 strikeouts in 42 appearances at the plate this spring as he competed with eventual-winner Chris Carter for the final roster spot.
