Tampa Bay fans may have a bittersweet feeling when they look at Todd McShay’s latest mock draft.
McShay, an NFL Draft expert for ESPN, has Cleveland selecting former Gator tight end Cornelius Ingram with the No. 18 (50th overall) pick in the second round of the April 25-26 selection meetings.
That’s the pick the Bucs handed the Browns for troubled tight end Kellen Winslow.

UF football pro days weren’t open to the public this year, which limited the crowd that could show up and cheer on the players.
It kept the attendees to family members, media, former players, scouts, agents and coaches. Even with so many like-minded people in the stands, one guy stood out like a tuxedo in a second-hand store.
There sitting in the front row on the 50-yard line was superagent Drew Rosenhaus, possibly the most disliked man that doesn’t put on a …

Times are tough for all of us.
Money is tight, and what little disposable income we have doesn’t seem to go as far as it once did.
Recently, I took my wife and daughter to the movies. After tickets, snacks and dinner afterwards, I was out nearly $100.
So imagine my disappointment when I found out that same $100 could have bought me an hour of personal coaching from Chris Leak.
Leak, who signed with the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes in December, just …

When Joakim Noah traveled with his Chicago Bulls teammates to play in Orlando in November, I had one question that he couldn’t answer. And trust me, stumping Joakim is not an easy thing to do.
I asked him if there was anyone that he could meet that would leave him star struck.
It took four months, but on his return appearance in Orlando Wednesday, he finally had an answer for me.
During a road trip to Washington last month to take on the …

With the start of the SEC tournament upon us, some analysts are already looking at one current Gator as a possible NBA draft pick in April.
ESPN’s Chad Ford, the network’s basketball version of Mel Kiper, says that Nick Calathes has been unfairly been overlooked by some NBA scouts as the league has grown in favor of smaller point guards.
While the 6-foot-5 Calathes may not be as flashy as current vogue pros like Derrick Rose, Chris Paul and Deron Williams, Ford …

A couple of updates from former Gators on (or trying to get back on) the hardwood.
Jason Williams won’t be returning to the NBA, at least not this season.
The 10-year veteran put in a request two weeks ago to be reinstated from retirement papers he filed before the start of the current season. Under NBA rules, a player that wishes to be reinstated from voluntary retirement must have unanimous approval from all 30 teams.
Williams’ vote was 24-6 in favor of his …
