Bradley Beal is off to a hot start this season.
The former Florida guard has scored 24 or more points in Washington’s first four games, including Wednesday’s night thrilling finish against San Antoino.
Spurs point guard Tony Parker’s 3-pointer tied the game at 99 with 7 seconds remaining. Then it was Beal’s turn to deliver from downtown.
The Wizards isolated Beal off the inbound pass against LaMarcus Aldridge. Beal shook Aldridge with a textbook jab step and then drained a 3 with 0.3 seconds left.
The 102-99 win over the Spurs improved Washington to 3-1 as Beal’s high level of play from last year’s playoffs has carried over into this season.
