Florida’s third-day selections in the 2014 NFL Draft have all signed deals with their new teams.

Cornerback Jaylen Watkins (Philadelphia Eagles) and offensive lineman Jon Halapio (New England Patriots) put pen to paper Monday.

Linebacker Ronald Powell inked his contract Friday with the New Orleans Saints.

Watkins on his versatility: “I’m more comfortable at corner, but over the years, I’ve gotten very comfortable at safety and it’s kind of come second-hand. I played it for two years at Florida so it kind of just came. I never played it before, but it just came naturally.” (via PhiladelphiaEagles.com)

Powell on his older teammates: “It’s great guys here in front of me. It’s veteran guys that have been around the game and know the game. You just come in and you learn from them. That’s what I’m hoping to do. Learn from them and get under their wing and earn their respect more than anything else.” (via Nola.com)

Halapio on his draft decline: “Everybody believed I slipped because of my injuries, and everybody said the same thing: They were surprised I was still on the board. But I’m past all that. I’m glad I’m here. This is the right fit for me and I’m excited to go to work.” (via BostonGlobe.com)

Defensive tackle Dominique Easley, the Patriots’ prized first-round pick, is the only UF draftee yet to sign.
