Gators in the NFL Week 17
by Ryan Randall
Adding to an already-successful rookie season, Percy Harvin was selected to the Pro Bowl Monday, replacing Philadelphia Eagles wide reciever DeSean Jackson, who was named to the NFC roster at both wideout and kick returner. While Jackson will still play reciever, Harvin will now return kicks. Harvin is the thrid rookie named to the 2010 Pro Bowl roster, joining Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing and Washington defensive end Brian Orakpo. Battling migranes and bulging disks in his neck, Harvin stated he is feeling better. “The week I was [inactive] I had a lot of medicines in me,” the wideout told the Minnesota Star-Tribune. “I just kind of felt yucky. I was not running the whole week and sweating and actually being at practice. I just felt a little sluggish. So I practiced two full weeks and got that juice back, and I’m feeling good now.”
